This year we will be going ... BACK TO BASICS!
Back by popular demand, we will be having morning announcements on WPYE again, from a new broadcasting booth! Each classroom will tune in to WPYE every morning for weather reports, Mustang sports scores, lunch time recommendations, birthday celebrations, and other pertinent school information.
Each week will focus on one asset that we are building. If a student is seen building that asset, they will receive a ticket from any school adult. At the end of that week all the tickets will go into 3 ticket spinners - one for grades Pre K, K and 1, another for grades 2 and 3 and another for grades 4 and 5. Three "Back to Basics" t-shirts will be awarded every Friday morning on WPYE.
Holiday Workshop
On December 15th and December 17th from 3:20 - 5:00 p.m. and on December 22nd from 3:20 - 6:00 p.m. in Room 36, we will be helping selected elementary age children and their elementary siblings create holiday gifts to give to someone they identify as needing extra "holiday cheer" this year. On December 22nd the workshop will be longer so we can all celebrate with a pizza party with all the parents of the students participating. It will be held from 5 - 6:00 p.m.
