Support for State Aid
Mustang Family,
We are asking for your support! As many of you are aware, the Governor's proposal would reduce State Aid to Penn Yan by $2.5 Million. We have been working hard to advocate for additional funding to be restored before a final State budget is approved. We would like to keep the support for this request on the forefront of the Governor's and our Legislator's priorities. We have been strongly supported by our two Representatives in the Legislature.
In order to do this we are asking for people to send a letter of support to these officials. We have made this as simple as possible.
Each of our elected officials is listed below along with a link to their contact page. All you have to do is:
1. Clink on each link below (we want the letter to be sent to all three of them)
2. Fill out some information about who you are in the send a message section
3. You can write your own message or copy and paste the body of the attached letter into the message section,
4. That's it. Please do this for each of the three representatives.
We continue to be hopeful that the final budget will include additional funding for Penn Yan and appreciate your support for this request.
