Turns out that is just a typical day at Penn Yan CSD! On Friday, November 6th, students from the Elementary school were treated to the FFA Cider Day event put on by the FFA students from both the middle school and high school.
Stations featured a petting zoo, necklace making, a cider press, assembling flower arrangements, learning about how cheese is made, and cabbage bowling followed by freshly popped popcorn. The event ran all day with classes cycling through so every student could enjoy all that each station had to offer.
The smells, sights and sounds were evidence of a day well spent learning about agriculture and enjoying time outdoors with our middle and high school FFA students!
