The Penn Yan Central School District Board of Education is comprised of 7 members. The primary responsibilities of the Board of Education include adopting and evaluating school policies,
preparing  and adopting a budget consistent with established policies and goals, and selecting a
Superintendent of Schools who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Board.
