Our Mission
The Penn Yan Family Support Center supports families by offering a safe, welcoming place to talk, problem-solve, and grow together. Our goal is to strengthen family relationships and help families feel supported as they navigate everyday challenges.
What Is the Family Support Center?
The Family Support Center is a FREE and confidential support service available to families in the Penn Yan Central School District. We provide short-term, family-based counseling that focuses on strengths, solutions, and positive change.
Families often meet together, and sessions are designed to be practical, supportive, and focused on what works best for your family.
We currently meet Thursday evenings in the Academy.
How We Can Help
Families reach out for many different reasons. Support may include help with:

Parenting concerns or family stress

Improving communication at home

Behavioral or emotional concerns

School-related challenges

Strengthening family relationships

Coping with changes, transitions, or difficult situations
You do not need to be in crisis to use this service.
Who Can Use This Service?
The Family Support Center is available to all families with students enrolled in the Penn Yan Central School District. Participation is voluntary, and families are welcome to contact us directly.
